70 miles! That's crazy. Sorry man. My commute is only a 24 mile total commute for a day. If it makes you feel any better, I have to go through hills and curves daily, so my tires are not liking the commute.

I probably do approx 27k a year. In August, I will have had my car 4 years, and currently I have 97k miles on the car. About to finish my warranty so I'm starting the engine and performance mods.

I'm close to 30k/year. My commute is 50 miles door-to-door, 5x/week. It was sad to see my warranty gone in less than two years. I haven't had any problems so far and hope the pattern continues.
My mom's ML on the other hand just turned 4k this weekend...and she's had the car for almost six months! Lucky... (grumble grumble)

35,000 a year, and I buy several sets of tires each year. But the car is fun to drive, thats why I bought in the first place. I thought about getting a Honda to just put miles on but you have to spoil yourself sometimes.

I've averaged about 25k/yr for the last 6 yrs. Being in sales will do that. Picking up my new ride tomorrow so we will se what the mileage is on March 2, 2007. I'm guessing 18,000 as I plan on getting a beater for the winter next year so this one can sit in the heated garage!
My wifes '02 only has 22,xxx on it! I guess that's good as I can spend the $$$ on my tires instead of hers!

I picked up my 2005 at the end of July 2004..
I did not drive it at all throughout the winter of 04-05.
I rolled over 34,000 miles today on my 2005. I have a long *** commute everyday, and I was driving from NY to Boston every weekend to see my gf.
I too am getting worried about the car holding up after the warranty.
To date I have replaced the rear tires, fronts due soon, and front brakes, rears due real soon.
The brakes were $750 for rotors and pads for the 05 with install at dealer.
The michelin tires do not last long at all....
I start a new job in a week with a 20 minute commute each way. I was driving 1.5 hours each way.

I have about 52,000 miles on mine now and its only giving one problem. The transmission mount in the center has loosened up twice and the transmission starts moving around making a clunk noise. I'm going to use lock tight on it next time. And no the dealer said they couldn't find the noise. They replaced a rear spring donut thinking that was it. For tires the I like the Eagle F1 for performance but found for milage the Kelly Springfield version of the same tread pattern is a great mix. But now I have 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear and they don't make that size. So I'm trying the General UHP's ????? Will see! Around $500.00 through Tire Rack.
