Well this may sound really...awkward...but I never floored the Benz until recently when i had to pick up speed fast to get onto the freeway since the whole construction of the exit and entrance ramps were poorly designed and so close together....when i got on cars around me must have been going 80 so i decided to get it to 80....so my usual force depressing the throttle wasnt enough so i floored it and i felt a click under my toe and i thought the pedal hit some debris but when i got to my destination and powered off the car...i notice that it's actually a button at the bottom of the accelerator pedal...you press it all the way and u hit a end...but if u depress more it "clicks" in...does anybody know what's the purpose of this button? or is it just some safety feature telling you "you're flooring it."
