ok guys...today i did my first mod.
i installed by myself the comand unit!!
i need some clues!
i plugged everything that i saw that could be plugged to the comand, there were 2 "AMP" cables... the one that was previously connected to my older radio (Audio10) won't fit in comand. So i plugged another cable saying "AMP" ... everything was good or at least i thought it was.
here's the connections:

... and i get this:

in sum, the comand turns on fine... i can navigate, etc... but there's no sound coming out from the speakers... ( I Have BOSE ) is there anything that i need to do???
thanks!

antena: A203 820 09 75
cable: A211 820 00 88
cable: A203 540 83 08

But I don't have sure, its the info I have...
The antenna its correct but the cables I don't know
I also want to know this, please post when you finished installing it

One of the cables needs to be connected to the fuse box in the left under the steering wheel, the antenna is placed under the Instrument cluster, and the other cable I don't know...

I am just guessing, but were the two "cables" you removed marked amp orange colored fiber optic light pipes? The signal is carried optically to the Bose amp on a fiber optic cable. These cables are connected in a ring, and you must have them connected correctly. They are not interchangable. The COMAND unit might need to be programmed to be told you have a Bose amp in the trunk. A dealer would need to program the head unit to recognize the Bose amp.

Oh... Hello Mr.Moviela how are you??... i didn't knew that about programing ... those fiber optic cables are connected...
after reading this from mr. MbenzNL:

here's a picture:

I have BOSE, does it has anything to do with that? do i need to connect a cable where that green arrow is poiting (in the picture)??
Do i need to connect the other end of CANBUS to any other place?

i'm desperated...
it's the first and the last time i'll ruin my w203
So i think everything is plugged right... correct?
i didn't knew that about programing on the stealership...

You can call me Magda.
so that's the canbus connector? i thought the canbus was the other connector that i've already plugged (the above one on the picture).
But i still have a problem that canbus dangling wasn't connected...cause on my comand there's no connector that fits him.
Is there any adapter?
Picture:

So the canbus connects to the middle connector? the one where i pointed a green arrow, right??

I am sorry for "stealing" your thread but im a bit desperated.

thanks for everything
