Running costs
Hi all, new to this site so thought i'd drop a note
I'm thinking of going for a C-class but don't know anything about them (except they look so cool and seem cheap to buy?), does anyone know the stats on the C180k and C200k models, what are the difference in specs, 0-60, fuel economy, etc
Is there any common problems to look out for?

Mercedes sells different models and variations, depending on the market. If you tell us from where you are writing, you will probably get responses from knowledgeable people there. Most of us really like the C-class, but the C180K and C200K are not sold in the USA.

C180K
Both the C180K and C200k have the same 1,800cc engine. You can find out more about the power, economy, performance differences, etc, etc from the UK or SG Mercedes-Benz web site. There were also a few postings on this topic, for example:

If you do a search using "C180", you should be able to find some of the answers to your questions.
As for common problems, from personal experience, they are very similar to the US C230K. These are also covered in the forum. Do post pics of your car when you have gotten it.
