ok i did my nite shades project the lights look amazing on my 05 SS
i cleaned the lense with alcohol, dried it. Sprayed my nite shades evenly throughout. After various coats 15 min spread, i did 3 coats of clear coat. 15 min spread. I then let them dry over night.
I woke up this morning and everything is perfect and even. BUT
here is my question
its a bit rough. (its sealed and wont flake or fall apart) but its a bit rough, I wanted to get the factory smooth look but tinted. Since I already applied clear coat, can I sand it down smooth? then clear coat again to get that factory smooth tail light look? any help would be greatly appreciated on this one. thanks in advance.

BINGO. It looks great btw....... been using night shades for the tails and the other product for all the other lenses up front. It looks great as long as you are patient.
