Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Its time to replace the cabin air filter on my C320 Wagon. I see there is a paper filter under the hood on the left side that is simple to replace (5 minutes of install and purchased for about $11). I have also been told there is supposed to be an active charcoal filter (ACF) somewhere under the dash, possibly behind the glove box, that also needs to be replaced. Furthermore, I have been told that the ACF is about $110 +/- to purchase.

Is this correct? If so, exactly where would this ACF be located? Does anyone have a picture or installation chart, etc... that they can send me?

Thanks for your time and assistance,
Alan

It's a two part filter under the passenger side dash behind a flat panel that is accessed by removing two screws and costs about $100 online.

Thanks Mleskovar.

Do you first have to remove a plastic kick panel or cover in order to access this flat panel?

Yes, two screws and the panel you see when you look under the dash comes out, it's underneath that. If I remember correctly the flat panel that the filters are behind slides to access them...there's a DIY with pictures somewhere on this forum that I used when I did it.
