unless you know what you are doing, i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. You could crack the paint easily.

here is a quick DIY, and if you browse thru some of the bimmer forums, you will find a very good pictorial..

Great thanks for the help! I had a full car yesterday and it rubbed bad on the side I have yet to grind but the side I did test grind seems only rub occasionally so I think I can grind out the issues and not roll but we will see. I have to take the car to the body shop to have it waxed in a month where they had to do same paint work so I will get them to do it then if I cant get it on my own. I rarely have a full car so I juts will work on it slowly!

I paid $200.00 for mine. I really don't recommend other than a professional to do it. You can definitely damage the fender or paint job. I'm a very handy person, have worked on cars most of my life (Certified) and I'm the manager on a mechanics shop (btw...we do a little of everything including body work)and still decided to have a dedicated body shop do it.

Just my $.02!!!

... or you could just trade in the C230K for a C32/55 and the fenders come rolled from factory. (AMG?)
