Speedometer Area Question...

idk what the exact name is? instrument panel?

but anways, why didn't my car ('06 c230) come like this:

by the way, thats from edmunds...

UPDATE: thats a c350 sport sedan

can i get mine to look like that?!?!?

It's usually called a guage cluster, or just cluster.

I believe that cluster is from one of the sport or evolution? trims in europe. Yeah, woulda been nice to have gotten that over here.

Mercedes calls it an "instrument cluster." You need a couple of hooks, part # 140 589 02 33 00. Lower the steering wheel and pull it all the way out. Put in the hooks and release the catches. Pull out gently. Disconnect the cable. If you are taking it for evaluation or just plain stealing it, keep in mind you need to perform basic programming when you install it in your car. Reset the seats, the windows, the sunroof, steering angle sensor, and the darn clock. I am not sure you can get that trim with a Miles per Hour Speedometer.
