Question C class and Parameter steering

At Korea, there is only one exclusive MB distributor ,who has selected some options for a car and sold it like a package car. There has been no buyer's option except buying or not-buying ( ridiculous...).

The distributor sold lots of C class without parameter steering option. And many C class owners have been complained the steering wheel feels so heavy ,especially low speed or parking.
They believe that with parameter steering the problem
can be solved.

My question is ;

Anybody knows whether the parameter steering option
can be attached at after market? If yes, how much it costs?
Is it very difficult and complicated job ? Please give some
hints.

Thanks in advance.

C200 Kompressor
It's like a progressive/degressive servo. Alot of servo-power at low speeds, and lower servo-help at higher speeds.

Parameter steering wheel

Parameter steering wheel makes you feel the wheel heavy at higher spped , and light at lower speed.

As I understand it is about US$ 200 option at factory.

However the excusive distributor asks US$4,900 to install
it under the reason of out -of -factory installation .

I would like to know the reality.

Thanks

Wouldn't it be cheaper to join a gym and work those arm muscles?

Yes , you may be right.

Working arm musles at gym may be better than paying $4,900.

At US market, as I understand , parameter steering
is a standard eupiment.

However at many other countries ,
it has been an option of some models.

At Korea, they sold C class as ideal car for ladies or oriental bodies, but without parameter steering . I know most of oriental bodies have been suffering at parking spaces which are usually
very tight.
