How do i remove dealer badge on the rear on my C?

I am in the process of completely debadging my C320, and i wanted to get rid of the annoying dealer badge, its a circular badge, i believe its plastic saying "Globe Motorcars". Would i use the same process are debading the factory badges?

Heat up the badge with a hair dryer till the glue loosens up

Use dental floss, and in a back and fourth motion move from left to right or vice versa.

Use GOO-BE-GONE to remove left over residue from the glue...

Are these the proper instructions?

that sucks that the dealer put a decal on your car. That should be a crime. Or at least charge him an advertising fee.

actually dealers are allowed by law to badge your car with the dealership name. however, you are also allowed by law to ask them to remove it.

well, in la, i've never gotten the dealer badge... but in the east coast, it's very prevalent. i specifically told the salesguy NOT to put the badge on... of course, when i went to pick it up, there it was. it was a sticker so they were able to take it off easily.

I agree that dealer's should remove their "ad" upon request the customers request, with no hint of removal damage, mind you.

To young: la as in Los Angeles or lower alabama?

Hey, Viktorious, if you have no use for the C320 badging once you remove it, can I have them?

Bob, I know what you're thinking, but it really would be tacky to rebadge your daughter's Neon with MB badges. Just say no! :p

u are doing everything right but i dont think heating up the glue with a hair dryer is neccisary. I took off the badging on my C230K with just dental floss and then used WD-40 and some go gone and then washed and waxed it over a cupple times.

U can use the hair dryer but i took off C230 & Kompressor without heating it up, and thats a alot more letters then just C320 but i guess it cant hurt by melting it a little.

goodluck

I was bored the other night so I started pulling the letters off the back of my car (wow, "kompressor" is a long word).

Now, how much should I start the bidding at?

easiest way ...

I brought it into the dealer and demanded they take it off. While they were at it, I had them take off those annoying yellow stickers on the sun visor.

Well I don't know if that's true. I am sure somewhere in Canada there is a dealer that puts stickers on.
