I'd say Alfa Romeo has the best sounding exhausts across their product line.

The Brits bless them do good things, but car making is not one of their strengths, they should be glad to have Ford behind them which may not say much but I'd take a more reliable Ford anyday..

As Jay Leno joked on the Ford GT, its as fast as a Ferrari and you can take it to the local shop and change your own filter...

Anyways..off the subj., I'd take the 2006, it feels heavier but its soo smooth

 

hmmm i dont know about you all...but i LIKE the sound of the s/c of my '05. thats the reason i didnt go for the 2006, i like the whine of the s/c at full throtlle. i come from a 96 fully modded honda, so my 2005 is SSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUPER smooth :-P it all depends on personal prefference in the end. people could tell u all they want that the v6 is smoother, the s/c engine is noisier blah blah. u want a smoother car, and are willing to sacrifice a second or so, go for the v6. if u dont mind the s/c sound then go for the '05 and the use the $$ u save for some mods. heck if i wanted a quite is smooth car i would have bought a Lexus ES or something.
