Badging Questions

I've seen numerous KOMPRESSOR lettering emblems for sale on ebay. Some are one-piece peel and stick. But it appears that the real deal emblems are individual letters.

Does anyone have experience installing the individual letters? Seems it would be tough to get 10 small letters straight and spaced equally.

Its not too difficult, you get masking tape, put it across the front of the letters while they are still on the orig. adhesive strip... that way, they stay in place after you remove the backing strip.. you align right to left and up and down as a whole...

Now, same concept if you have the single letters... align them on the sticky side of some masking tape till they are in the order and aligned like you want... install away.

Just my .02 worth

thats exactly what I am doing, i removed the rear c230 and kompressor and bought the small v8 kompressor badges (for my side fenders)

i applied the kompressor ONLY part to my car. so much better, definitely different. I also removed the SPORT BADGE on the fender. hope that helps.

same way as stated above!

The nice things about some of the OE Kompressor lettering on ebay is that the badging for more expensive MB Kompressors is italicized. Looks REALLY sweet on the fenders.

What I was thinking was replacing my black oblong sport badge, with an identical black oblong badge that says KOMPRESSOR. I cant seem to find any one that makes or sells them? I think this would be better than placing the word KOMPRESSOR on the fender, like a true AMG has. I am still trying to keep the Factory look of my C230ss (and at the same not pretending that I have an AMG) but I am also trying to custimize it and I also dont want to be a badge poiser.
Does any body know of a company that can produce a black oblong badge that says KOMPRESSOR. What company does Mercedes use to have the black oblong sport badge made?
Just a sample of what I mean. I am not so good at photo shop.
