I know i said previously i was gonna buy one from FMM but i decided to go tint/alarm/NAv route instead...I'm thinking of getting the replica oem spoiler but i dunno if it'll be worth putting on right now - or if i should just wait til the spring when i drop some rims on it....anyways ill post pics of everything i did in my sig/avatar - whatever u call it.

I am selling my Lorinser rear spoiler - brand new, unpainted and perfect W203 fitment. You can purchase an authentic spoiler for just a little more than those OEM style found on ebay.

Since they are so close in price, I would definitely go with the 2nd choice. I've heard that is a factory option for the sport models, but it's not nearly as common as the C55 spoiler. I waited for a cheap spoiler to pop up on ebay and snagged this C55 style for $57 and had it painted by my friend for another $50. For that price I don't mind having the same spoiler as everyone else.

I didn't know the 2nd one was a factory option Good to know. Wish I could see how the whole car looks with it. Only pics I've seen are trunk pics on formymecedes.com. Did you get your c55 spoiler from a ebay store? That's a very good price for it. I would settle for the c55 for that price as well.

The 2nd one looks like the Sport Accessory spoiler that was first available in 2006 (can't remember if it was that or 2005). Anyways, only one that I know has this is mig888. Take a look at some of our photoshoots and you'll see. I like this spoiler and was about to get it when it first came out, but decided on getting my Carlsson spoiler (although I found out it was fake later on...). I like the sport accessory spoiler much better than the c55 spoiler.

Thanks Drex. I found several of your photo shoot. You guys are picture ******! So which one of you do I sue for my sore neck? Every single image I saw were in an angle. Sheesh! So anyway after looking at Mig888's car I think I am going to go for the c55 spoiler. I think it will suit my stock look better. Thanks again!

Ok, i've searched but I can't seem to find the answer to my question.
I added the spoiler on a while ago and now the trunk doesn't pop up all the way like it used to. Is there a spring or something I should adjust? I think the extra weight of the spoiler is keeping it down.
I figured I'd post here instead of starting a new thread.

most likely its because the spoiler is to heavy...i wasted nearly $150 at the dealership trying to figure out why my trunk wouldn't pop up like before and it was due to the spoiler...the spoiler that i had was cf but the fitment wasn't right so i ended up molding it to the trunk.

Gary,
Your car's looking great as always!
Did you get it back from the dealer?
I bought the vinyl tint from stickercity, still didn't have time to do the taillights like yours!

I actually happen to like the roof spoiler more on sedan, it elongates the roof since it's right where the roof ends. On a coupe it sits on the glass lower than the roof line, since you have to open a hatch without the spoiler being in the way. However, the rear lip deffinitely looks much hotter on coupes - it goes above taillights for that extended hatch look. On sedans the rear lip looks too much like Honda Accord/Acura TL look - a fat M5 style lip.
Hey Gary, why are you going back to the dealer? What's wrong with your Coupe?
