Wetterauer chip mod
Has anybody done chip mod with a company name called Wetterauer ?
They claims below result.
If you had done it, did you really get this much HP & Torque?
Below information is from this address http://www.chip-tuning.com/usa/main/mainmenu.html.
Mercedes C230 Kompressor 4-cylinder engine in line front engined electronic injection catalytic converter
modification stock tuned
displacement 2295 cc
compression ratio 8.8:1
peak engine HP 193 HP To 230 HP
peak engine torque 206 ft/lbs To 236 ft/lbs
Have you check their price with their web site?
Are you saying that the price include their pulley + chip and filter?
Do you know for a fact?
Because I already order ITG filter and planning to order ASP Pulley tomorrow.
Guess I need to call them to verify what the price actually includes.
I spoke to them about a year ago, they were one of the first to have a pulley for the coupe. They even sent me installation instructions. They don't have a chip for the coupe. It's a pulley, intake, fuel pump mods (for the a/f ratio). It costs $1,299 but there was a MBWorld discount of $100. I've only heard of one being installed and they had a S/C leak afterwards but I can't imagine it being a specific problem to Wetteraur.

I just installed the Vaeth 3.8 Bar fuel pressure regulator and has it dyno at Evosport shop. The A/F ratio drop from 15.1:1 to now at 13.7:1. Renncpe, did you measured the A/F ratio before the CAT or after? I measured the A/F ratio both way. Before the CAT is at 13.7:1 and after the CAT is at 14.9:1. I see that there's a different to where you measure the A/F ratio but some mechanic still said that it does not matter whether before or after the CAT. What about you? What do you think, does it matter?
