wants a cCoupe Do you know for a fact?

Yo,wants a cCoupe

Have you check their price with their web site?
Are you saying that the price include their pulley + chip and filter?
Do you know for a fact?
Because I already order ITG filter and planning to order ASP Pulley tomorrow.

Guess I need to call them to verify what the price actually includes.

I spoke to them about a year ago, they were one of the first to have a pulley for the coupe. They even sent me installation instructions. They don't have a chip for the coupe. It's a pulley, intake, fuel pump mods (for the a/f ratio). It costs $1,299 but there was a MBWorld discount of $100. I've only heard of one being installed and they had a S/C leak afterwards but I can't imagine it being a specific problem to Wetteraur.

That has to be a big job to change the fuel pump it in the fuel tank. I hope that Linn's fix for the A/F works in the long run he has a diffrent ecu. The sim 4 unit that is on the C230k will change the cycle time of the injectors (if the fuel pressure is incressed) if it is running rich when compaired to the programing of the ecu. It is a very smart box. I'm currently getting 13.2 A/F at red line with the new ecu. Were going to test several more times over the next few weeks. I'm going to have the adaptive values downloaded tomorrow I want to see if it's trying to change back.

sweet, please keep up updated on the ECU.

also, if one was getting the asp pulley then will the fuel pump fix the a/f problem?
how much money is one looking at for a larger fuel bump ?

Renncpe,

I just installed the Vaeth 3.8 Bar fuel pressure regulator and has it dyno at Evosport shop. The A/F ratio drop from 15.1:1 to now at 13.7:1. Renncpe, did you measured the A/F ratio before the CAT or after? I measured the A/F ratio both way. Before the CAT is at 13.7:1 and after the CAT is at 14.9:1. I see that there's a different to where you measure the A/F ratio but some mechanic still said that it does not matter whether before or after the CAT. What about you? What do you think, does it matter?

What ever your factory A/F ratio are. My factory A/F ratio 13.0:1 bottom end and 12.5:1 top end (redline). Your car might be a little different then mine. So do a dyno before and after. But in tunning regardless what car, you want the A/F ratio from 12.5:1 to 13.0:1 !!!!

For the dyno (local) it was checked at the rear after the cat when the car goes back to renntech they read off the o2 sensors before and after to get more info.

linh, do you know if there's any special fuel pressure regulator for the new 2.3K EVO111 eingines?? i've tried a FSE regulator from UK for the 97 230K SLK, it gives much better result than Vaeth because FSE's fuel-line pressure increases with higher revs. The new 2.3K EVO111 engine has fuel regulator but it's half-electronically controlled

I am not familar with this engine code.

Vaeth FPR do the same. It increased the pressure as boost increase.
