Get the LED out

I'm thinking of converting to LED blinkers (front and back) and LED tail & brake lights. I've read some excellent postings telling how to do it. The only question I have is how does it look?? Can you see the individual LEDs??

You see, most cars that have LEDs have specially designed lenses to hold them & or diffuse the light. I don't want to do this mod if it makes the car look cheap. The look I'm going for is to clear the front & rear blinkers (can do with SilverStars or with silvered bulbs, I know) and to get that "instant on/instant off" that only LEDs can deliver.

So, is there anyone out there that's done this conversion that can say one way or the other if it looks the same as stock or can you see the individual LEDs??

yes, I've read that thread. That's the one that gave me the idea. The issue is the photos don't really show what I'm looking for. I simply want someone to tell me (who has done this conversion) if the lights look stock or if you can see the individual LEDs.

I would rather not see the individual LEDs. I want to do the mod but only if it looks like stock bulbs when lit. I expect that you'll see the LEDs if you stand with your face to the lens. My criteria is if you are behind the car in traffic. If someone behind your car in traffic can still see the individual LEDs then I don't want to make the switch. That's what I want to know.

As I said earlier in my post, I'm only looking for the instant on/instant off that only LEDs can provide.

a quarter mile at a time
lol - why didn't you just PM me. No they don't look like individual LED's. The red fills the brake light area evenly, more evenly than the stock bulbs. You definitely get the instant on/off effect and I've been very happy with my mod.
