Audio 10 - thanks!
The Audio 10 sounds much better than the cassette unit even though we've only had our 2003 C240 for a couple of weeks. Living in SoCal there are a few stations that broadcast RDS and that is very nice (we've become used to it with the Becker head unit in my Crossfire).
I picked up a new Belkin iPod car adapter, the one with the adjustable volume on the cigar lighter end. It sounded like crap until I turned it down to almost the minimum. After fiddling with it I'd say it ended up around 3 or 4 on a 1-10 scale. The volume is almost exactly the same as a strong station. Connected that to an Audiovox FM Modulator, already had one of the antenna adapters from the head unit we had in our old SLK230. I put the switch in the back of the pocket under the head unit but I might relocate it to the glovebox.
Well that's all, thanks to everyone that has posted information on the Audio 10 and to session for the great guide.
Oh yeah, I was considering doing the cassette hack (aux-in) but the RDS in the Audio 10 and better sound were the deal breakers.
