Changing Rear Shocks

Hello People.

I'm changing my syspension today for a set of Tein SS and H&R sway bars. I have done it on other car but first time on a MB. So before I get started, I would like to know before I loose a lot of time searching, how to remove the rear shocks. I guess my question is more how to access the top bolt of the shocks. Thanks

Anyone with my quick question. I know I will figure it out myself but if you can spare me some time that would be great.

I installed the front sway and coilover over this afternoon. Everything went well. Talk about an improvement even tough the rear is not done yet. If you want understear just do the front

You can access the top of the rear shocks by removing the interior trim. It's not too hard. You will have to take some plastic rivets out to get the trim out, but it's nothing too hard.

The rear shocks are accessible from the inside? That's odd!

To adjust the dampening of a coilover suspension and consequently install/reinstall (with the option available) - you have to take apart the interior of the trunk to the suspension towers...from there, use the included suspension key.

A straghtforward job, no suprises. I can reach the top for adjustment with out removing the trim, but you'll need to remove it for the install. Don't try using the factory jack (sucks) on one side and a floor jack on the other.

That was easy finally. Thanks for those who helped.

For those who care, compare to the stock suspension, the combination of the Tein SS ans H&R Sways is an other world of performance. I'm running the shocks almost to stiffest and it is perfect for me.

When I will have time, I will describe my experience in an other post as to the installation went if that can help someone.
