I like to shake around the bottle, see how the viscosity of the product is before I make my final decision.

Zanio does not publish MSDS for its products. I am always suspicious of products that are not willing to state their ingredients. There are no secret formulas, or trade secrets a good chemist couldn't resolve rather quickly.
Just like the guys who sell "mechanic in a bottle" and want you to put ptfe or chlorine in the crankcase, Zaino want you to be swayed by testimonials from users. That ain't science, and you might be using non-reducing abrasives that take off large amounts of clearcoat, and slather silicones all over the place that make it hard to apply any real wax for protecting the clearcoat and paint layers, or even paint the car until it is stripped off.
If Zaino is so wonderful, let them do one section with their product, another with any name brand carnuba wax according to instructions, and publish test results from a three angle gloss meter. Also publish the amount of UV protection measured with a properly filtered densitometer, and finally a side by side test panel exposed for one year.

I would only use Zaino on my car, I used NXT and cant compare to zaino protection. I used zaino back in Nov. and my car shine like it just came form the show room. we had members do a test on car hood and used different products NXT, Zymol and turtle wax. after 5 months Zaino was still the best wax to use. Do a search on Detailing section and you would find it. if dont want to pay for Zaino then NXT or mothers will do......
i found it

I've read a number of independent tests on Zaino vs other brands and Zaino usually lasts about twice as long as other brands, but usually has the worst shine. Incedently, NXT is rated among the worst. Shines great, but only lasts a few days. I tried a bottle because it was on sale and quickly found it useless. Meguires usually rate very poorly.
I also don't believe the test against Zymol means anothing either. Why only test against one other brand? Maybe that brand sucks too. Lots of info on waxes can be found at properautocare.com. If someone would do a test among the top 10-15 brands, then it might mean something.
I've had very good results with Mothers 3 step process. It may not be quite as good as the $30 bottle stuff, but I don't have to spend the next week at the massage therapist and chiropractor's office to get the job done. It looks great and lasts a reasonably long time.

My favorites for a clean car
No need to wash the car after clay treatment. Assuming you are using the clay properly (by using a clay lubricant or quick detail spray), your next application will be a pre-wax cleaner which will remove any residual wax and/or lubricant. My favorite pre-wax cleaners are PS21 for those of you who like Carnauba wax finishes or Menzerna Final Polish II for those that like Poly finishes such as Menzerna or Zaino.
You can't go wrong with either the compete product line from PS21 or Menzerna. The PS21 carnauba wax is by far the easiest to work with when removing dried wax. I am currently using all Menzerna products since with Carnauba you need to wax the car ~ every 3 to 4 months, while the Poly coats will last for ~ 1-year. Menzerna also makes a polish for our Ceramic clear coat polish made for the new clear coats found on MBZ and other German cars. Ceramic clear coats are used for better scratch and swirl mark resistence, but they are also more difficult to polish out!
As for the car wash soap, my hands down favorite is Four Star Ultimate Auto Wash Shampoo, much better than PS21 or Menzerna.
