Tie downs in the Coupe
Transporting furniture back from IKEA the other day and the box was about an inch too long for me to completely close the hatch. 'No prob' I thought reaching for my trusty collection of bungies... To my suprise, I could not find a place on the bottom of the hatch to tie off. Tons of places in the floor, the reciever for the hatch latch, the recievers for the seat backs, but nothing but smooth metal and plastic on the underside of the hatch. Or was I missing something obvious?

the hole is on the black metal portion of the lock on the hatch door. look close enough at the locking mechanism and u'll see it. not circular shapped, it's a kinda funny shapped hole but u can still fish a small string through it and tie the door to the trunk rings.
