V6 2.5 engine specs, data?

V6 2.5 engine specs, data?
Well, we know that the 2.5L V6 on the C230 is a shorter stroke version of the 2.8L V6, however I have looked around for more detailed engine specs and nothing is available.. I mean I would like to learn more about the similarities on the engines since these are two brand new 2006 machines... any design tidbits etc...

yes, specs are usually in L vs cc's.(in the C230's case 2496 cc's=2.5 liters). The 2.5,3.0, and 3.5 V6's, of course, are the same engines with different displacements. The 2.5l has an 11.2:1 compression ratio, the 3.0 a 11.1:1 c/r, and the 3.5 a 10.7:1 c/r. about the only difference besides the size.

Anyways, I will email M-B, but it seems ilogical to have so little info at hand, maybe it is the fact that the 3.5L V6 took so much spotlight when it originally came out and that these two 2006 new engines are derived from it.... who knows.
