Oil Recommendations
Hey guys...i'm getting the "add a quart of oil at your next gas station stop" warning. Question is what oil is recommened to use in my 05 230SS? i have about 28k miles on it. In the manual it says 0w30 or 0w40, but i want to see what you guys have been using? Also is it me or is there no dipstick? is the computer the only way we can check the oil? Sorry its been a while since i've done any maintence on my car

I would check the oil level after you find the dipstick.
My wife's car has a bad sensor and I have to take it back to the dealer to have it replaced.
They performed the test that mercedes does and showed that there was no loss of oil. A further investigation showed that the prongs on the sensor were messed up.
