CD Player unit

I've got a 2005 C 230 K sedan, the cd player unit itself stopped working, sort off . It won't turn on and it won't allow me increase the volume or decrease the volume. The cd player still takes in cds and in the centre next to the speedo and rev counter it shows no cd when there isn't a cd and shows track 1 but i can't increase the volume or do anything else with it...any ideas? i was thinking maybe a blown fuse or something like that but i'm not too too sure b/c it'll give me cds back shows its working fine on the screen in the middle. I can't switch from cd to radio or anything like that the screen doesn't show up either in the unit (Track 1... none of the soft keys etc...)

i'm hoping its something i can fix, don't want to lose the car at the dealers for a few hours if i could be done at home, thanks in advance

Take it to the dealer and let them fix it, that is why you have a warrenty.
