Windshile Wipers Question
Can anybody tell me if the windshield wipers on 2002 C240 can be turned on if the engine is off but the ignition is on? Even after the engine was on, it took me several times to turn on/off the wiper switch before it finally works. Does it have some kind of rain sensing device? My car was inside a garage when I was doing this.
Also does anybody know what is the official name for the water pump that squirts water into the windshield? Mine seems to be broken. Unlike most cars where the pump is usually located in the water tank, on this MB, there is a little pump that is located on the nozzle itself. I checked my local MB store and they charge $59 for that little sprayer. I am trying to shop around but I need an official name for it.
