Pics of my new ride
I'm new to the forum and just purchased my first MB a few weeks ago. Just wanted to show it off a bit. I absolutely love the car and it's just about broken in. I'm ready for a little " spirited " driving.

I like the cf front lip, and I'll probably end up with one eventually, but window tinting is first on the list. Next is finding decent lock buttons. What's up with these 1950's style plastic lock buttons? The interior on this thing is both tasteful and stylish, then you see the lock buttons! Dramatics aside, it always takes me a while to really decide what I want to do. Heck, is anyone ever done with their ride?? I've been checking out the mods of members here, and have already gotten quite a few ideas...much to the dismay of wifey
14cue, I know I'm going to have to really stay on top of the interior, but I had to have this color. My previous ride had light saddle leather, so I'm used to the cleaning.

i just noticed that you have a small blk mat for your heel, did the dealership give you that?
everytime i vacuum i noctice the mat is slowly deteriorating where the heel of the foot usually rests. i should get me one of those.

Arn, thanks for the heads up on the Pilots. I have a friend that bought them and got about 20k out of them.
14cue, the black section of the mat for the heel is built into the mat itself and is from the factory. It's in the perfect location as well. It's nice because on long trips I tend to change position a lot and my heel stays on the rubber section. My previous car had mats that had a small rubber area and my heel wasn't always on it.
white_w203 and M230K, I know I'm going to have to stay ahead on this interior, but it's worth it. Any cleaning tips will be appreciated
Frank, thanks!

Things like this can happen when you go wild Yep, got severe case of curb rash on three wheels that will hopefully be cured by the end of the week. That and four new tires that have to go on. I got barely 20K out off the Michelin Pilot Sports.

Interior looks nice, but I'd be totally paranoid.

Tommy, as soon as I find buttons I like, I will tee up some ***** on the practice range with these
Sickwitit, I would have liked the black interior for the wear/cleaning issue. But, it's so hot here in the summer and the ash looks sooooo good, I couldn't resist.
