Yeah, it's cool. Just a pain in the *** portion of L.A. (Wilshire/Fairfax). And it's right across Peterson Automotive Museum and Diagonal from LACMA.

the view from your office is pretty tight! you're right, it is in a pain in the *** portion of LA... but, at least it's not in DTLA and it's still in a pretty good part of town that's pretty close by to everything.

I can't wait to see your car in person now!

True dat. DTLA would've been worse for sure. But the location added 15 minutes (even though it's down the street from our old location). I've been purposely leaving work past 7, just to avoid some semblance of the traffic.

That's right! I totally forgot you haven't seen it since I got the grille and the rims on. Hopefully after you're done. Just keep studyin' brotha. Gotta keep those priorities in line.

hey guys, thanks for all the compliments on my car (the galant). it's a 1999 3.0L ESV6. it took about 6 years to collect all those parts and another 6 months in the shop to get it to look the way it does today. the front bumper was imported directly from japan by me and is made to order, the sideskirts are from taiwan, and the rear bumper is 4 pieces of 3 different materials, molded into one piece then molded into the rear quarter panels (there are no seams). the exhaust is a special edition camaro SLP dual center exit tip and dual AERO TURBINE mufflers and AERO TURBINE resonator all being fed through a straight downpipe (no cats). the wheels are VOLK RACING SF-WINNING 19x8.5 +48mm offset w/ 225/35zr19 TOYOS and are about the biggest you can fit on any 1999-2003 galant (the fenders are cut out). the car runs about 225hp from the crank.

over the last 6 years, i totalled all the mods and costs to about $60K... next time i'm just gonna buy the car i want from the begginning. my next car is gonna b a benz.

I'd predict within the next year and most likely a CLK or SLK.

dunno yet, but as u can see, the galant is pretty much no longer gonna b the daily driver (don't want a $5000.00 molded kit to crack). in fact DREXAPPEAL drove it over the weekend and hated it because he was holding his breath everytime he went through a dip or over a speed bump. it does handle very well though, but it's just to scary to drive for fear of body damage. DREX didn't mention it but the EVO is on TEIN type flex w/ EDFC, the galant is on TEIN SS-P w/ a 5 piece chasis bracing kit and strut braces and you guys allready know that DREX has TEIN SS and i think brabus sway bars. the galant also has low beam HID, seperate high beam HID (JDM headlight conversion) and projector fog HID... when all beams are on it's like a police helicopter searchlight.

Damn, and I thought I was **** about my car. I don't want to scare you, but realize that all it takes is one moment of another driver's carelessness (let alone a dip or speedbump) to ruin your baby...

I've driven his car through ALL the suspension changes (stock, H&R sport springs and TEIN SS's before the kit install). This was the MOST scared I've ever been driving ANY car. It was to the point that even though I know how to cut on speed bumps, we were on our way down the hill to get some coffee and I literally stopped before I hit a speed bump. I had to have him pull up beside me in my car just to make sure the bumper was gonna clear!...LOL.

For all the work/research he had to do for that damn bumper, I'm saying he gets his benzo sooner than later for daily driver purposes.

BTW...Reelax, talk to Flip (JP@carlab) about your interior.

ouch! yeah i know... not to mention the rear bumper is pretty much a one off and the parts that went into it are out of production, the front bumper is hand made and is only made after you order it so there are only maybe an estimated 10 in existence worldwide (it would take at least 12 weeks and $1500-$1700 to get it in the US via BAX global from japan, then through customs) and the side skirts are pretty much imposible to get as well. if i were to have to replace something it would be a HUGE ordeal. but that being said, i'm very happy w/ the results of my labor and i love my car; i just am too scared to drive it too much. btw, you guys should recognize the color... it's MERCEDES BENZ diamond silver mettalic!

I don't think there have been many 2006 w203's on here with diamond silver. At least, I don't remember anybody posting that they've got the diamond silver. I've only seen the diamond black, which is bas *** too.

Are there any w203 peeps on here with the color?

No wonder. Either way, I think you made the good choice (even though your color before was unique also).

enri., Can't ditch the grille, dawg. It's gonna go along with my theme!...LOL. I kinda miss the OEM grille, but my car needed something in front and once I decided to go this route...had to stick with it.

Majority of the time that I see you rollin' in the valley, I've been ridin' in that EVO!...LOL. My cousin used to live off Kester and Ventura, so we were always around the Sherman Oaks area. So it's highly likely that you have seen it...hahaha.
