Hi!

My C230K is going to its first dealer visit next week, so I'm interested in a Recall/ Repair Bulletins update. I'm taking my car to the dealer because the Panorama roof's main (black) curtain does not roll in when opened and the left-side steering wheel controls stopped working during this past weekend.

From what I read from this forum, I know that the dashboard's center air vent grille was redesigned and that the front sway bar connectors were re-designed; these should be replaced. What other things should I request to be replaced under warranty?

Regards,

TSWIND

Don't get frustrated if the dealer doesn't replace all the items you've heard about here. My dealer wants to see evidence of a problem (like every other dealer in the US). Just telling them that you want the center grill replaced won't cut it.

You'll have to complain that the inner surface of the windshield gets " this disgusting crud on it that I have to clean 4 times a week. I don't think I should have to do that. I understand there's a new part available that solves that problem," etc.

Shade
If your shade is not retracting properly, this can be a major job. Be sure you get a loaner !

I called the dealer about a problem with my vent above the console, it keeps fogging up the windshield and getting it all dirty. they said there is a fix for it. Imagine that, they didnt try to work there way around it, they actually told the truth the first time. Go team
