Has anyone installed this?

Now, onto the controls. The menu and control wheel work very similarly to the iPod itself. The only functions you lose are volume control (it connects through the iPod's dock port using a line level - not headphone level) photo and video - if your iPod supports that (4.5g or newer).
I've only had one problem with the one installed in my truck. I used the cig. adapter for power (unlike the MB's that I hardwired). Occassionally, it goes into this funky loop where the iPod plays but no audio comes through. I have to completely power down by unplugging the power to reset the head unit.
Other than that....it's a great, easy interface.
(Edit)
I've tried others: iRock, iCarPlay(both versions), Cassette adapter, etc. This is by far the best - which is why I bought 3 of them.

I installed the head unit between the drivers seat and the console tunnel. It holds nicely there with velcro (no screws needed).
I took out my center console trim panels so I could install the display in the ashrtray and connect the antenna modulator. I hard wired the power off the cigarette lighter with some quick-splice connectors. The iPod itself is in the phone (top) tray of my center console. I cheated and just ran the wire from the head unit under the back corner of the top armrest.
The control wheel comes with several bases - each with different angles. I installed mine using the flat base on the console to the left front corner of the sliding panel for the cup holder. I used 3m double sided automotive tape to secure it. Very functional in this location. I can control everything and barely have to reposition my arm.
In the E-
I removed the center console facia and installed the head, modulator and hard wired power from the cigarette lighter. The display is mounted on the dash above the air vents (it wouldn't fit in the E ashtray - too wide with the lighter and light lens in there). The control wheel was mounted to the side of the console, but I moved it back and to the rear of the window controls after about 2 days. Still taped in place, but it isn't as prone to being bumped. My iPod sits in the console in a cradle that leaves the dock port exposed.
And I won't bore you with the truck....
But....it works with my 4th generation (20gig) and my 5th generation (60 gig video) as well as my Nano....so any dockable iPod should work. I'll take pics after the weekend....I'm going backpacking and my digital camera is already tucked away.
