Couple of questions on my C class

hi guys i've been browsing these forums for a while now and its very informative. With this being my 1st post i need all the help i can get. I just purchased a 2002 c240 sedan, and im looking to do a few modifications to it. My only problem is when it comes to cars i know NOTHING . I live in long island NY i was wondering if any1 can refer me to any shops or stores where i can purchase accessories(like Bi-xenon headlamps,rims,lip-kits etc.)or even reliable websites would help. And with these accessories r there any shops, mechanics or members that can give me a hand with installation. Any and all answers r GREATLY appreciated

Steve at MBenzNL.com should be able to help you out with good deals on parts, and he often does trips on the West and East Coast. He's a regular here on the forums, and we trust him. He's a great installer as well; you just have to find out when he's planning a trip to your area.

If I were you, I'd stick with the basics. Now, I don't know how bad the roads are in the NY area, but make sure that you get something that you can live with. Function first, form second.

For form, I suggest you go with the basics. Brabus body kits are excellent quality and help the car aerodynamically. Lorinsers have this very high profile look (which I actually like, even though I'm not a gaudy person) however have virtually no aerodynamic improvement. The stock body kit is actually very good already.

Your dealer can be your best friend or worst enemy. The Bi-Xenons I recommend that you do it with the dealer, since they have to reprogram the computer for it to work properly (usually). I care a lot about having things done correctly.

Also check out the sponsors page. Many offer shipping and discounted prices for people on the forums. Try to find one you don't have to pay sales tax for.
