Comments: Comments from everyone on how gorgeous the color combination looks. The wonderful contrast of the light leather/mbtex with the dark brown wood trim, and also, I just love the light interior from the outside as well -- it definately stands out more than the black interior. Negative being its a wee bit more work to keep clean - I clean her up every 6 months and keep rubber mats inside.

it is the best looking red on the road
i like vw red too. ferrari and bmw reds are too orangey for my taste. i will be sad when MB stops offering mars red

The most common are the "Electric Red" and the "Imola Red". The electric red in my opinion is a bit orangy, however, the Imola Red is very beautiful and dark.
The Audi red found on the RS4 is very attractive, this could possibly be the similar red that you are referring to as the "VW" red.
