Anyone mod an '06 C230 w/ 2.5 V6 yet?
Recently traded our '03 C230 coupe for a new '06 C230 sport sedan (which we love BTW). Just wanted to see if anyone has modded the new 2.5 V6 yet - or if there is anything even available for it yet.
Have to say that the V6 actually feels less powerful and gets worse fuel mileage than the supercharged I-4 our '03 coupe had. Absolutely love the looks of the car - bar none - and the steering is just beautiful, but the power of the new six is pretty anemic if I do say so.
Anyone brave enough to see what it sounds like with a new muffler/ehaust? I can't leave anything stock for long....
Cheers!

06 c230 v6 SS
have any of you v6'ers experimented with taking out the stock resonator on the exhaust. our cars sound rather nice stock thru redline and especially comes alive at 4k when it sounds like the intake cam opens up, i would love to have a little more roar and distinction when it hits the 4k, ppl say stock my car thru redline sounds awesome from outside, im tempted to try and take the resonator out, afterall itll only cost like 30 bucks at my local shop. what do u guys think? i think itll make the v6 sound a little deeper in the higher rpms.
