The Wheel Exchange??
Anyone know if The Wheel Exchange is a good retailer of wheels and tires? I'm buying some 19x8.5 wheels and a set of 4 235/35/19's Sport Contact II's from them. They say they'll fit my C 240 perfect but MB's parts guy says no. Any ideas?

Havent heard of them, maybe they're big, I dont know, I dont live in the States. But if I were you, I wouldnt buy Sport Contact II, I'll get Toyo T1-S. Toyo are much better both on dry & wet than Continental, very reasonably priced and much durable!! Nobody uses Sport Contact IIs! I dont think S-03 makes 235-35-19, otherwise, you can try S-03.

I've heard of the wheel Exchange....almost bought there too...
They seem ok...just be sure to put the purchase on a credit card...just in case you have any problems at all the credit card co. will back you up.
oh - my friend bought Conti2's for his 330i - he's happy with the ride quality and traction. He just doesn't like the sidewall apearance...says there's a big funny flag on the side of the tire. I haven't ridden in the car with those tires, so I can't verify.

I've got the Sport Contact 1's - 17" staggered set-up 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear. They are a good everyday tire - decent in rain. However, if you drive aggressively they are a bit squirrely in turns. I have not done anything to the suspension, so this may also be a contributing factor. I would think the Conti SC II's would be somewhat similar. I've got about 15000 miles on them and the wear is okay - since I dont drive that aggressively, on occassion. I think I will decide between the S-03's or Toyo TS-1 the next time I replace the tires.

Harris, Toyo ?
Harris, how are your Toyos wearing on your C32?
On my C32, my Pilot Sports are going to wear out on the "outer" fronts first, then the rears (wear is very even across the rears though).
I am happy with the Toyos on the M3. On that car there is less tendency to wear the outer fronts though. (I believe the difference is M3 has less forward weight and more camber).

I just bought a set of Monoblock II replica's from them and they were very nice. I also got a set of center caps and lugs with it (even though they were not OEM either). Take a look at their auctions on eBay...very cheap prices.
