I found a great deal on a supercharger from C32AMG 2004 (under $1000) and was wondering if it’s compatible with my C320 Coupe 2005-year (W203). Is it possible at all to add the original compressor from C AMG model to regular C-class, if so what kind of problems to expect. I compared the engine characteristics for both models, and they are pretty much identical except for compression ratio: 9:1 on C32 AMG and 10:1 on C320.

I appreciate any advice. Also, if anybody had business with Quality Auto Parts

I'd swear I just read this exact same question posted a day or so ago. It had already been answered to the effect: No, you'd have to be insane to want to do a project like that. In fact, I think the answer included a lesson the engine compression and the different levels between the C320 and the C32 AMG.

Do yourself a favor. Go buy a C32 and be happy.

Do us a favor. Please don't keep asking the same question until you get the answer you are hoping for.

Yes, this was the same question, posted by the same individual. You'll spent $15-$20K doing what you propose as noted before. Not recommended.

Further, this topic has been discussed several times in the past. Please do a search on this forum under C320 supercharger upgrades, etc. rather than post another new thred on this topic.
