Hey guys, what do you think my wifes car is worth??
2003 MB C230K sedan sport
brilliant silver/black leather
35k miles
19" Brabus VI style staggered wheels/tires (only 2500 or so miles on them)
Bi-Xenon headlights (euro)
Clear fog lenses
Upgraded grill
still under warranty
exceptional condition...still has new car smell...
Thinking about selling for the right price.......

Check out KKB.com (Kelly Blue Book) You will probably get more if you sell the upgrades separately.
Yeah...I am aware of KBB.....but some cars just dont fall as close to their estimates as you would think..........also, I sold the original headlights and wheels/tires........so these extras would go with the car. Figured it would be right up someones alley on this forum.......

It's worth whatever someone will pay for it. Maybe less with the wife, more without. Or is it the other way around?Originally Posted by diamondc230

My guess is somewhere around the low 20s or high 10s. Cars will lose about half their value in the first three years.
This is why I buy new and I plan to drive the car pretty much to the end.
If you have the stock wheels and tires, sell the car with those and sell the wheels seperately. Might be troublesome, but you should come out a bit further ahead.
Additionally, service history on these cars are important. If your car is always serviced at the dealership, this is a big plus to the secondary buyer. If you kept your receipts for all your modifications and they were done at reputable locations, another big plus.
Good luck.

I have same car but I always keep my stock parts for when I sell the car. Expect a price in low 20's. 22 if you are lucky. I already have a committed buyer for 26 for mine.... but he wants all the mods too, so I won't have to part out. End of August it will be gone probably.... bad part is I don't like any of the cars in market right now.
