I finally got my Penn State alum plates (we'll get a bowl game next year), and installed them. Problem: the plate frames that I have cover the "PENN STATE ALUMNI" line at the bottom of the plate, and in back, because of that, the assembly is too thick for me to add on the little handle also.

So, I just got new plate frames that correct this little problem. Which means that I have some extra plate frames. They're the chrome ones with the "MERCEDES-BENZ" in large letters at the bottom. If anyone wants them, they're up for grabs. All I'd ask in return is a thank you and payment for postage. And anyone who doesn't say anything nice in my post about the service dept. problem that I had is disqualified.

My hometown dealer yanked me around for four months and still had no prospects of getting me a car. So I went to another dealer who got me the car I wanted in four days!
Now, my hometown dealer is asking that I remove the plate frames from the other dealer and put theirs on!! Hilarious!

Speaking of license plate covers. Has anyone seen a classy, plain, chrome framed plate cover with smoke plexiglass over the plate? Or for that matter any good spots to browse for similar animals?

PEP BOYS has them in chrome, brass, black annodized and gold....but smoke tint plae covers are illegal where I live....so they also sell clear.
