Chrome Trim Headlight+Tailight

Need Opinions - Head/Taillight Chrome Trim - Yes/No?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board ...but I did try a search. I was hoping to get your opinions since many of you mod your cars.
I'm purchasing a new C230 Kompressor and I'm going to have the Head and Taillights covered with the "Chrome Trim Rings".
Do any of you have these? If so should I get both/none/one? Any opinions would be appreciated.

i am a fan of the chrome rings. but really i have only seen rear chromes one time and it was on a W210. i actually thought it didnt look good. It might have looked better if had chrome wheels but they didnt. I would say at least the fronts would look good.

The Plastic trim covers done in Chrome do NOT look good...
But
The same covers Painted to match the color of the car do Look Good..they fill in the gap!

I decided NOT to get them. I figure I will wait to see more pictures with cars that have them before I put them on mine.
The one thing I do want is the Xenons. Any one have any recent links to purchase those ?

If you want to put Xenons then just install the Bixenon. Many people on the forum purchase the Bixenon from MBenzNL (aka Steve). He has a good price for it. He is also a member on this forum with user name MBenzNL. Email him for more info.

Thumbs down on the chrome accents. Take a look at the C32 forum. A member just posted pics of his C32 with chrome rings front and rear. They are horrible, especially on the rear. Too tacky.

hey i just found someone selling a pack of chrome trim headlight+taillight in hong kong and its not that expensive, just wannna know if they will fit my c230 sport sedan. feel free to post any pic of it ! thanks for comment !

The front looks exactly the same as the ones I got from formymercedes.com. I dont know how much you are spending...but FMM had them at a VERY resonable price...
As for the rears, I was never a fan, so I dont have how they fit...
Here is a pic of mine...the left one is on and the right one is off...
P.S. be sure to use clear sycilicone adhesive along with the 3m tape...at high speeds those will fly off with just the tape...trust me...it has happened to me TWICE...
