2 simple mods added.

Here's a before shot taken less than a month ago =P

I couldnt stand the front plate any longer so I took it off. And i decided to take off the CL grille too. So, I'm back to the OEM - much cleaner IMHO.

1. Filled in holes on bumper and had it completely repainted (they matched it perfectly! - anyone from Vancouver looking for a good body shop lmk)
2. Euro impact strips from Steve

One with 4 wheels
Lookin good! I'm glad the MB dealers here in Texas give you the front plates stuff when you pick up the car, instead of automatically installing it on the bumper for you. They did that to my old Accord V6 when I bought it and I was pissssed. Haha.

OT, 14cue, but how are those K&N filters working for you??? I'm thinking about getting it for my car, but I'm still iffy about the possible long term issues? (MAF sensor clogs, etc)

Any thoughts will be appreciated!

thanks for the comments.

hmmm, im not the right person to ask, i only know what i've been reading. and honestly, it's not a big deal. i trust their products and i havent had any problems with it yet (knock on wood) but i could go with either filter, the oem one or the k & n.

I Have KN filters in my C230K coupe .. it sounds nice especially on high revs..
not too much from stock but less hot air going in ect. im pretty happy with what i got .. only thing is that my filter is dead almost .cause i didnt change it in soooooooooo long .. or cleaned it .. but i would go for it. green filter also . get more whine sound. and little faster ,fuel efficient. good for summer.

argh...i envy you people with the stock amg inspired front bumpers.

my brother has one, but refuses to spit up money for a cf lip on his oh so plain c230k

I want one =[ just waiting on someone to make a cf lip for the coupe bumpers

Guess you were just unlucky.

yep, stock....
i've been planning on lowering it for sometime, but in the end i think i will stick with what i have. it's not worth losing the comfort or risking the lip.

here is a side shot:

it is mandatory everywhere, not just bc. what kind of car did you drive?
i know and see a lot of cars w/o the front in Van. it's partly luck and depends on the cop. if they're a dick they will give you a ticket. i know people who have driven w/o it and have had no run-ins. but one of my buddies got a ticket on the second day he drove his car (go figure). but he did drive a ricer too.
