I was at the local Kragen's and I was just debating which fuel injector cleaner to purchase. So I just asked one of their workers and he suggested that I use Seafoam and he also added that a lot of people buy this stuff up quick. Anybody here have any prior experiences with Seafoam?

My daughter's civic sometimes stumbled with A/C on from an idle. A visit to the CIVIC forum revealed most people liked Seafoam. If I remember correctly 1/2 goes in intake and 1/2 goes in tank. Sounded too snake oil for me but other people really liked it. I ended up using something recommended by the local Kragan because it was on sale (2 bottles for $6!) and it seems to help.

Thanks for the quick reply! Thing is...I really am paranoid about putting a fluid in my intake...I'm willing to try out putting some in the oil and gas tank but I just wanted to also see if any forum members had any experiences with this.

Thanks again for the reply. I did a search and I think I found the Honda forum you were talking about.

i go with the chevron one i usually use it more during winter just because my car was exposed to the harsh winter months of upstate new york.

i chose the brand b/c the guy that worked at autozone and also my friend recommended it also. It costs more than the other cheaper brands but i feel that it helps esp sometimes when the car starts to shake at red lights.
