Does auto-leveling xenons only adjust opon start up?

Does auto-leveling xenons only adjust opon start up?
After my dealer fixed my auto-leveling xenons I found that the lights only "self level" at start up(the first time turning the headlights on after starting the car). If I turn off the headlights and turn it back on while the car is still running the light will not try to "self level" again! I did not pay attension to this before and don;t know if this is normal!

Can you fellow owners check on that please!

My friends X5 self levels all the time...very annoying when your riding in front of him...

Yep, mine do the same. I don't think it's a problem though. If you didn't put the lights to auto mode, it won't even do the self-level.

I wonder if the auto-leveling is INOP, is there still manual adjustments available ?

I plan on getting the Bi-Xenons assy but my non-xenon car doesn't have the 2(?) additional plugs for the auto-leveling hookup.
