Non-US Geographical Poll

For our members outside the US, where does your C-Class find it's garage? (US members should not vote) I've tried to segment as much as possible, contingent with the 10 choice limitation... I'm also assuming no one lives in Antarctica.

My C is normally garaged in Stockholm (the capital of) Sweden, wich, as far as I know, is somewhere in northern Europe

mb bob....

MALAYSIA is NOT an island..and does not belong to Pacific Island.
It is a penisular and connect to thailand. It should be listed as south east asia.

Another thing you should note, during mid 90s...Singapore ranked 1st as mercedes customer in term of market shares. That is pretty amazing considering the high price of mercedes over there... A S320 will make your wallet about 200k usd thinner...

Whew! Good thing you specified Madigascar, but where's Sri Lanka? JK, thought it was amusing.

I'm sure that Bjork would be pissy to find out that she's lumped in with them silly Canucks.

Xeon - everything's an island if you think big enough.

MB-BOB, you knew the risks... :p

Re: Re: Non-US Geographical Poll

OK, some observations...

Xeon, thanks, I've deleted Malaysia from Pac. Islands... you folks can decide where you fit. Talk among yourselves...

tommy, Bjork doesn't deserve her own island, stupid "duck" dress and all...

Sri Lanka is in close proximity with India, although they don't wanna be...

OK, so I mispelled Madagascar, I'll change that one...

D'oh! So we clowns in the U.S. can see the results of this poll, I've added an extra option for United States (I found out moderators can add more than ten. Whoopee!) So vote away USA...

Accord, you don't need a vacation home in Antarctica... Seems to me you're on permanent vacation right here in the states...

young, you were right, of course. Greatest man on earth couldn't please twelve...

Neither Greenland nore Iceland belongs to (and should, according to my knowledge, not even be associated with) Canada. I would say Greenland belongs to Scandinavia (or Denmark to be more precise) and Iceland belongs to what we here call "Norden" (Sweden+Norway+Denmark+Finland+Iceland = "Norden" ; Sweden+Norway+Denmark+Finland = Scandinavia).

That's what I've learned in my geography lessons anyway...

Ok, ok, I'm a Besserwisser, but don't hate me too much for that!

OK, dude, I think you might have a new nickname... It even sounds neat. But my daddy always taught me to make sure I understand the meaning of a word before I use it in public, so I have to ask... What's the translation for "Besserwisser, please?"

That said, I wasn't dividing the land masses by political association, but rather geographic proximity. I agree that Greenland and Iceland are not Canada and have more cultural association with Scandanavia, but they are closer to Canada than Norway. Not sure we have any members from either island, anyway.

MB-BOB I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ but if this is a non-US Graographical poll why would you put US as a choice of country?

bwhahahahahahaha!!! LOL... mb-bob, you just can't win

(ok, i'll help you out a little... if you don't vote, you don't see the results readily. there is a button (see results) but it sucks to keep pressing that... so mb-bob put in the US so all of the US-ians can see the results.)

Ohh, it means nothing. It was a german WW2 combat airplane. Hmmm, no, no, wait a minute... That was Messerschmitt. Ahhh, whatever....

Here's a pic of what I, 'til just recently, believed was a Besserwisser :

Your picture is of a Messerschmitt bf109E-3, circa 1938-41. (With a 2-bladed prop, it could be a C or D model, though) I can see how the pilot could be a BesserWISSER once he was jumped by a pair of Spitfire Mk VII's, though...

I realize that the Philippines are a part of SE Asia. However, knowing that we have several of you here, I thought you might prefer your own billing... I DO get credit for spelling Philippines correctly, though. Don't I?

Interesting distribution of folks. FYI, one doesn't have to vote in the poll to view the results. To view the results, simply (drum roll, please) click on "view results".
Not trying to be a smart aleck, just happened to discover that one night when I was too lazy to log in, but wanted to see a poll result.
