Xpel is paint chip & headlight breakage protection for the front of your car....like a clear plastic film.

I think the website guarantees headlight breakage as well - they'll pay your deductible....(they say it'll take a 120mph 1" diameter stone thrown at it without breaking).

I would definitely get one of the stonegard/x-pel products again. Next time, I will not wait as long as I did. I have stonegard now. Now, I wish they would come up for something for your front windscreen. The legality of a front wind screen film may deter them from making it. And the glass companies will probably have a fit and have it banned.

Absolutely. IMO, its a must-have for anyone who owns (as opposed to leases) their car, esp. if you plan to keep the car for a while. These modern cars with their painted bumpers and soft paint get absolutely killed on the highway.

My car now has 12,000 miles, and I can tell you xpel works! You can barely see it. See my pic under "Pics of my C240", on the shot with the water on the hood, you can see the xpel line on the bumper if you look very closely at the bumper, particularly on the passenger side. The pic was taken at close range with a high resolution camera, and you can still barely notice it.

I have a 3M clear film

on my coupe and it works great. In fact, I had a fender bender where the driver front quarter panel was hit and the clear film took a beating on the bumper but did not allow the front bumper to get scratched. So instead of repainting the front bumper I just need a new/repaired front quarter panel and headlamp. And some new clear film.
