CF Front Lip

CF Front Lip
Now that everyone has had their CF front lips installed for some time I was wondering if anyone has had any parking, scratching, chipping issues with it. Every now and again I leave the benz in the garage and the wife takes it. She's been doing really good about taking care of the car. She's been instructed to park far from other vehicles, don't hit curbs or pedestrians...etc. So far there hasn't been any problems with any of my cars (her previous cars always looked like butt). I'm just not sure about lowering the clearence of the front end by approx. 2".

The current worry is the 19's. 1 pothole and whammo! new tire, possibly new wheel.
I would really love to get the CF lip but the front end clearance is my biggest concern.

I wouldn't say there are cracking issues but I have rock chips from just normal (normal for me) everyday driving. My normal cruising speed on the freeway is usually between 80-90mph so rocks and other misc things take their toll. What you need to watch out for are the cement blocks/curbs placed at the front of parking spots. I almost ripped mine off like that.
As for scratching on driveways, not really a problem if you know how to drive lowered cars. Of the 10 cars I've owned in the past 8 have been lowered so not really an issue for me. If you like to be lazy and not go in/out of a driveway at a "safe" angle then you shouldn't by the lip OR lower your car for that matter.

lol damn and i thot i was gonna avoid this with leaving my lowered civic with a front lip days behind me...WRONG...now im jus gonna end up doing it with a mercedes lol...but i was good about driving..knew how to angle it in and out..out is always harder b/c of lack of space in certain driveways, but jus remember about that 700 dollar piece u have under ur bumper and im sure that you wont hit a damn thing....i cant wait to get mine

One with 4 wheels
I've had mine for around 5 months; so far, no damage except for the small scrape from the stealership idiots who went over a speedbump too fast while driving my car towards the work-bays.
And when I park, it's almost second nature now to park and leave a 1 1/2 foot space between the curbs.
