Remote Key Question?

Hey guys whats up??? I was wondering how i can change the battery in my remote control key??? I can unlock my car but the key doenst seem to lock my car anymore nor open the trunk. It was workin a few days ago so i'm thinkin that the battery is dead. I would look in the manuel but i must've forgotten the manuel at home as i am in college now any help would be great. Thanx

sorry guys just did a search neways when i press the lock and unlock button away from the car i do see a red flash so that means that the battery in the key is still good??? does neone know how i can get the battery out of the key??? this is so troublesome b/c the dealer is so far away now that i am back in college

Not sure if your remote looks like this....
If so, here are the instructions:

1) Press the button and remove the metal key.
2) Inside you will find another grey button. Push it inward (using the metal key). The metal key will sit on a groove and you can see the piece spring back and forth and you push inward. With the buttons facing you, you'll be pushing inward to the left. Simultaneously, as the grey piece is pushed in, use your thumbnail into the grove and push upward. You'll see the top portion separate and you'll find the battery compartment.

I've seen one in the past, but couldn't find the thread. Yes, visual is always better with written instructions. If you have the time, go for it!
