C320 Comment
Dear all......I am looking for a 2001 C320 but my friends told me that C320 with lots of problems - especially YR2001, (e.g. wiring, electrical, computer, etc). Just wonder any brothers have such experience..... Many Many thanks.....

I've owned mine's for over a year and like stated above all the real issue's have been addressed, it's been in the shop for minor issues maybe twice so my advise is to go for it.

The early 2001 models, manufactured in summer 2000 were the most problematic. Cars made after Jan, 2001 have no more problems than the average car. See the door placard for build date...
I have a 2001 C320 manufactured in April 2001. Runs like a top. No problems at all. The few electrical glitches I encountered (mostly memory modules for windows, mirrors, etc.) were fixed under warranty and have not recurred.
It's now 5 1/2 years old with 46,000 miles and I intend to run it at least another 50,000 miles. Ask to see the vehicle mtce record for any of these cars if it concerns you.

My '01 with 105K miles has never left me stranded. It's had MANY problems and all but one were solved under regular or extended warranty. The car still drives and sounds like new and I'm happy with it despite the early problems.

bought mine used a little over a year ago.. had a few problems here and there, but it drives great even after ive put 17k miles on it! (total 62k now)
How do i find out exactly when my car was built? i just scanned through some pages on my owners manual and the other little booklets that came w/ the car and i couldnt find anything!
