Just get the pulley. Removing the muffler is auditory masturbation. Ive had it off...the sound is way too much. Don't get me wrong, I love the SC whine, but this is really loud. You loose a lot of that jet turbine sound- it turns into all whine. It doesn't add any HP...just makes "look at me,I'm a git" noises.

I've had mine off at the dyno, 6HP to be gained, certainly worth doing and since you are in Canada, I don't care about the noise. Just get a sawsall with a metal blade, crawl under the rear of your car where the exhaust pipe sticks out and the muffler is a few inches behind that and about 18" behind that is the inlet pipe, just start sawing. Then the muffler is held up by rubber hangers, just spray some lube (wd40 or such) and they slide off, chuck the muffler in the trash and you are ready to tear it up... It's not that loud, I've heard worse but then again I'm a biker, we do that stuff all the time. Or as we say, "loud pipes save lives", haha!

Jane, you ignorant ****.

I believe he was looking to remove the supercharger silencer, not the exhaust muffler. That one's pretty hard NOT to find.
