two tone or solid leather color?

I wanted to get your opinions on what color leather I should get.
I have 230 in Brilliant Silver with charcoal interior.

I'm trying to decide between two tones (charcoal/silver) or solid silver.

I have seen pics of two tones and I think they look great but what do you think about solid silver? Does anyone have this? If so can you attach a pic.

I wanted to avoid solid charcoal color, since it gets so hot in the summer.

What do you guys think?

Well, since you said, "I want opinions", be prepared!

You've already got a pretty boring exterior color, so I really don't think that any of the combos will liven it up enough. And silver leather is nice, but all silver would be too much.

I'd recommend a two-tone, with the lighter one on the inside.

STFF - renncpe and I have posted multiple pics of our two-tone interiors. Someone else also has a two-tone in tan/black, I think, but the name escapes me.

www.classicsofttrim.com is the firm that did our two-tones, and they've got a pretty good pallet on their forum. If you can, get swatches, and place them on your current seats. Hopefully, you'll then see what I'm saying about needing some other color in the interior to spice it up.

By "silver", he means "silver". That's what I've got; most places carry it now.

That looks sharp Xeon.

Seehow, if it was my car I would do something totally custom looking like Black with a bright blue center, red or burgandy.

xeon's leather looks better in person, really sporty.

Buellwinkle i agree with your opinion, and thus want to add a similar question: my car is white with oyster cloth, grey interior, and i am thinking of doing the cst thing, i want either tt black n red, or my interior color, greyish, with the red inserts, i 've seen cars with light interior color seats with a splash of color, and i think it looks great, but i cannot imagine how it would look, i keep thinking of going for the red n black because i know what that will look like but i think its too contrasting for a white car, i also thought of going for the light color and the red, and hoping that it comes out the way i want it, i would appreciate if u would comment on this.

Bright red may be too much if you're going for the solid option. But, burgundy would be really nice. Many 3 series have that combo from the factory, and it looks really nice.

Solid burgandy with a silver car is very sharp. The boxter has that combo and I would order it that way if I got one.

VyVy, Oyster is more difficult because of the dash, door panels and carpet are oyster or beige. Benzomontery did the Black/Oyster 2 tone interior and it looked really nice.

I know, thats why i wanted the majority of the color to match with the light gray interior color, think lil romeo-ish, but i kind of have my heart set on red, i want it to make more of an impact than black and oyster. i dont know what to do!!!!!! Guess i'll try to photoshop it since i'm done with school for the week.
