I took my 230 in for the first service to the just-opened Danbury, CT dealer. Based on posts from this board, I asked them to get rid of the annoying "no telephone" menu item on the display. The service manager called later to say "can't do it". They had even asked the area service rep who was at the dealership today. I said it could be done. When I went to pick up the car, I brought the instructions that rrf had posted. They took the car right in and did it. The service manager thanked me very genuinely for providing the info, and the MB service rep asked for the board URL.

According to my local dealer, In stardiagnosis :-
Control Units -> Info. and comms. -> ICM -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Version Coding -> Optional Equipment
In the optional equipment menu you can set the following
to present or not-present depending on what you have
AUDIO, Tele-aid, Cellular Telephone, Trip Computer, Navigation
That turns on and off different menus.
