So my hunt for a C has begun. Im in the process of looking for a C230k. Well lets refine this a little bit. Im looking for an 03-04.5 White Ext/Grey Int with a 6spd manual.

I went to one of the local dealerships in Pleasanton and was greated by a salesmen. Immediately told him I was looking for a 6spd C230K Sedan... He stopped me dead in my tracks and said "We don't ahve any manuals. They are very rare. About 1 in every 50". So without wasting any of out time, I left.

Recently [as of last nite] I've searched every single dealership in CA for a white 03-04.5 c230k sedan. they are near impossible to find. I did however find one posted on craigslist a few weeks back. Myself and a friend emailed him and we both didn't get a response. Havent seen the psoting since. Oh well.

Well after the last few weeks of searching and not being able to find a white C with a manual trans, I've started to weigh my options heavily.

Which would you rather have... A White Auto-trans or a Silver 6spd?

My next step from here is to branch out and venture into the Desert Silver. I know I was so set in my ways about a white C class cause I think they are hot. I love the black C's as well, but after owning a black car and knowing how near impossible it is to keep clean [at least in my area], I've decided against it. I like silver, but its SOOOO common nowadays. I ahte being like everyone else. So I'm thinking about getting a silver C and two-toning it [key word: "thinking"].

I know Silver is like the common balance for black and white. I just wish I wasn't so spoiled and want what I want [im really not spoiled, i just know what I like and wait for it]. haha.

I've found multiple C230k Sedans [a crap load in black] with 6spds right around $20k, so thats right around what im looking at. I'd essentially like to keep it under $20k as best as I can, but with the right options and mileage, I might budge a little bit.


So what do you think I should do. Wait it out and hope for a White 6spd Sedan? or Venture into diff color with a 6spd.

The reason I'm so hell bent on a manual is because I miss shifting in my friends cars. All of my cars have been auto and I'm so ready for a change.

i've found so many that are posted as manual but you can tell in the pics that they are autos.
