I'm in the minority here. I prefer performance mods over cosmetic. I think the car looks great as is. I would go for an K&N air filter, upgraded brake pads, best performance tire you can afford.
Next up is the stereo. Getting a nice sounding system make driving so much more fun.
You have the M271 eninge right? I'm sure you already know, There is not a whole lot more improvement to the engines power output.

Umm, I just didn't get what you were saying. In any case, recall the Mustang 5.0. I would say it was about the late 80s. Maybe 87 or 88. You could get a 5.0 sans the body kit, or you could get the gawdy, louvered rear lights GT. I always enjoyed it when a clean car just kicks the crap out of some garish car.
To each their own. But I typically go with a stock looking car.
