well i recently had the luxury of getting my car keyed but it was just the trunk so i guess im lucky. my question is when we took the cover off of the trunk lid there is a couple of wires that are just there but they look like they plug into each other. they are black in color and just go down the arm with all the other wires. i will take a pic on thursday when i go and pick the car up so it might make more sense than me just trying to blindly expain it.

Seriously, those are pre-wiring for Sirius Satellite Radio antenna.

If the connector is black, with a black wire and a brown wire, that is a connector for testing the trunk unlatch solenoid.

 

i understand there are wires in the trunk lid but im curious as to what these wires are for.
