i paid someone to install and bypass for me, 80 CAD for installing the unit, another 80 CAD for Bluetooth.
I am gonna take some pic tomorrow along with my new grille, to Advans, that unit look nice, did you bypass it?
1 thing i don't like single Din Nav is that i can't reach my other panel buttons, especially the ESP off button, i use it quiet often in snow, also door lock and emergency light =P

i saw your sig on the avic411.com website!
i am about to order the unit and have a few questions for you.. if you don't mind:
1. where and how did you ground those wires?
2. did you install ipod, back-up camera ? and if so how/where did you wire?
3. do you have any pics of your installation?
the bypass seems very straightforward on the avic411 site, especially because of the avic-z1 DIY on this forum... although i was wondering if you had any advice because im hoping to do it all myself.

1. He grounded the wire to the "ground wire", or u can choose ot ground to the chasis of the body of the car
2. I got Ipod cable ($45 CAD), it's just a wire to plug in, very simple, i hide my ipod in my ash tray below my air conditioning control
3. I only got pic after the install, i'll put the pic up on a new thread.
My Brabus hood emblem arrived today, but i think they gave me the wrong one, think it's for the sedan not the coupe =/
